This summer, Re:Fuel celebrates its 6th Anniversary, and we’re doing it the only way we know how — with a full day of cars, bikes, live music, and that unmistakable Re:Fuel atmosphere that’s brought petrolheads together from all across the South West and beyond.

Re:Fuel was founded by Dan Regan and Matt Young — two lifelong petrolheads with deep roots in the South West. Their journeys began in the automotive industry, where work soon gave way to friendship, fuelled by a mutual obsession with cars. From motorsport projects to countless road trips (more than they can count — or probably should!), their shared passion for all things automotive kept growing. It was during yet another winding road adventure, filled with engine talk and dreams of the ultimate motoring hangout, that a simple question sparked something bigger:
“Why don’t we create something like this in the South West?”

From that moment, the idea for Re:Fuel South West was born — not just a meet, but a movement. The vision was clear: to create a permanent, welcoming space where car and bike lovers from all walks of life could gather, no matter what they drove or rode. A place where stories could be shared over coffee, engines admired in golden-hour light, and friendships formed in the shade of rear wings and roll cages.
In the early days, Re:Fuel took shape at Dunkeswell Raceway, a stepping stone that helped prove just how much appetite there was for a dedicated motoring hub in the region. The buzz grew rapidly, and with every meet, more and more enthusiasts rolled in — classic owners, custom builders, bikers, supercar drivers, and curious newcomers alike. It wasn’t long before the community outgrew the temporary setup and the need for a permanent home became undeniable.
That dream finally became reality in 2022, when the Re:Fuel venue officially opened its gates. Nestled in the heart of the South West, it became the go-to hangout for the region’s automotive community — a place built by enthusiasts, for enthusiasts. More than just a meet location, it’s a venue where people come not just to look at machines, but to connect, relax, and truly belong.
And how else are we supposed to celebrate this milestone?
We’re holding our biggest meet of the year! The paddock will be packed from morning till evening with an incredible mix of machinery, from rare classics to modern icons. Among the highlights, we’re thrilled to welcome Simply Mustangs UK, bringing a full-force display of American muscle — from vintage Mustangs that ooze character to the thunderous modern V8s that still turn heads wherever they go. Adding a touch of true British motoring heritage, The Devon Austin Sevens Club will be rolling in with a stunning lineup of pre-war classics that never fail to draw a crowd.

And of course, it wouldn’t be a true Re:Fuel celebration without the cool, curated presence of South West Retro Rides, who’ll be bringing an eclectic mix of beautifully preserved and tastefully modified cars from decades past — the kind of builds that stop you in your tracks and keep the camera shutters clicking.
While the cars take centre stage, we’re cranking up the vibe with live music all day long, giving the entire site a festival feel. Whether you’re sipping on a coffee, tucking into something delicious from The Steamer Coffee House & Kitchen, or just chatting with fellow enthusiasts, there’ll be a soundtrack of local talent carrying through the air and keeping the energy high.
