The team at Re:Fuel have been monitoring the Covid-19 (Coronavirus) situation daily and also the official guidance from the UK Government, NHS, Public Health England, and the World Health Organisation.
As a public venue/gathering, we have been using this information to create and regularly update our Covid-19 response plan. During our March open day on Sunday 15th, this plan led to us working with our hosts, Mansell Raceway, and our food and drink vendors to implement special measures to minimise any health risks to our visitors and staff.
As you have undoubtedly seen in the media, the Prime Minister has now urged people to avoid public gatherings and non-essential travel – and there is uncertainty around the length of time these measures may need to remain in place.
Our next Re:Fuel open day is currently scheduled for 19th April. Due to the “turn up on the day” nature of Re:Fuel, with no ticketing or advanced booking of any kind, we will continue to monitor the situation on a daily basis and will make an announcement in the coming weeks as to whether we will be able to open in April or not.
Our decision may also be affected by the availability of our hosts, Mansell Raceway – as they are currently temporarily closed in the interests of public health during the Covid-19 outbreak.
